Is ArtPlacer free?
No. There's a 14-day free trial, which ArtPlacer's terms say "may be subject to feature, usage, or capacity limitations." After that, you need a paid plan — and for 3D exhibitions, it has to be Plus or higher.
What happens to your exhibitions when you cancel?
You keep access until the end of the billing period. Virtual Exhibitions are a feature of Plus and higher plans, and ArtPlacer doesn't say they stay public after you cancel; its terms also allow it to delete your account and content "in its sole discretion" when an account ends. On a subscription, it's safest to assume a show lasts only as long as the plan.
How exhibitions work
You choose one of 11 preset 3D galleries, upload your works (JPG, PNG, WEBP, or GIF, up to 40 MB each), place them on the walls, and publish with a link or an embed code. You can change wall color, floor, and ceiling, add looping background music, and add "Buy" and "Inquire" buttons. Video works are added as YouTube or Vimeo links; ArtPlacer's help center notes that "Videos are not displayed dynamically while walking through the exhibition" — visitors click to watch them.
